ARCHDALE SUMMER HOT DOG NIGHTS REPRESENTATIVE MALIA AND CITY COUNCILOR TIM MCCARTHY
State Representative Liz Malia and City Councilor Tim McCarthy will launch Archdale Summer Hot Dog Nights on Thursday, June 30 at 5:00 PM at the Archdale Housing Development in Roslindale. Cookouts will be held on every other Thursday through August 25. The final night will be held at the Casserly House, a safe haven center for adult literacy and education located on Stellman Road in Roslindale.
“I commend Boston Police for coming to the district and engage with the community,” said Representative Malia (D-11th Suffolk). “I’m glad to see this wonderful tradition revived after many years. It really is a model that works and that should be used more often across the city.”
"Representative Liz Malia continues to build community with the return of her summer hot dog nights at the Archdale Housing Development," said Councilor McCarthy. "Thank you Liz for starting this great tradition, I look forward to it."
The event is held to build community and bring neighbors and public safety officials together, and it helps to provide a safe and healthy space for all attendees to interact one hot dog at a time.
